Chad Hutcheson, Owner

Chad Hutcheson, was instructor at Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte. He has always been passionate about good food, good wine, good beer and fresh things as well. After years of working in restaurants and culinary retail shops, Hutcheson decided to open his own establishment.

The String Bean has two components: a market and a deli-style restaurant.

• People are going to be able to come into the market and get fresh local produce, meats, cheeses, seafood and an assortment of dried goods like cookies, olive oils, dressings and sauces

• Everything will be locally grown or made, when available.
